02/07/2011 // Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) has supported building of a water tank and water system for Tselot village (3200 inhabitants). The tank can take 100m3, and was said to be the biggest in the zoba Maekel.

There will be 3 water posts in each of the two villages included in the system, and water committees of both women and men will be responsible for maintenance and price for water.  53 of 84 villages in Maekel have water systems like this.

The construction has received funding from the Norwegian Government through NCA. In addition, the community has contributed 10 % in-kind to the construction.

The Embassy visited the Tselot 1 June 2011 together with NCA and representatives for the local administration
